Somerville extended their road winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ja'Keith Daniels. The Yeguas walked away with a 38-26 win over the Hempstead Bobcats on Friday for which the team can thank Daniels, who rushed for 139 yards and two scores on only six carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and one touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Somerville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hempstead, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Somerville has already played their next match, a 55-0 victory against Snook on the 19th. As for Hempstead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 45-9 defeat against Wharton on the 19th.
