Softball Recap: Lowell Devils vs. Elkton Elks

They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elkton Elks and snuck past 4-3. Cassidy Matthews was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Matthews was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
