Volleyball Game Preview: Crandon Cardinals vs. Wabeno/Laona Rebels

Crandon is 1-9 against Wabeno/Laona since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cardinals will face off against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Crandon duked it out with Florence on Thursday. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Bobcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Wabeno/Laona came up short against Laconia on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Crandon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Wabeno/Laona, their loss dropped their record down to 21-8.

Crandon couldn't quite get it done against Wabeno/Laona in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
