Baseball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

St. Thomas More was the 12-2 winner over West De Pere when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers came up short against the Phantoms on Saturday, falling 11-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cavaliers have suffered since June 4, 2024.

St. Thomas More saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Galaszewski, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Thomas More's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for West De Pere, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas More will challenge Dominican at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West De Pere has already played their next contest (against New London), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
