Volleyball Recap: Sauk Rapids-Rice Beats St. Cloud Tech for Their Fourth Straight Win

Sauk Rapids-Rice waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Sauk Rapids-Rice won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-20.

Stella Lambaere paced Sauk Rapids-Rice's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lambaere got some help from Emma Sundby and her 18 assists. Sundby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Sauk Rapids-Rice's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for St. Cloud Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.

As of now, neither Sauk Rapids-Rice nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
