Volleyball Recap: Williamsburg Comes Up Short

Williamsburg lost against Raceland back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Williamsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Raceland, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsburg will challenge Knott County Central at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Yellow Jackets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Raceland, they will face off against Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
