GlenOak has gone 6-0 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The GlenOak Golden Eagles will take on the Washington Tigers at 7:00 p.m. GlenOak is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, GlenOak lost to Green at home by a 48-29 margin. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 17th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Washington took on Canfield on Monday. Washington blew past Canfield 64-37. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Washington's win came from a few key players GlenOak will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Delaney Pierce, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Pierce is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of La Nia Moore, who went 9 of 15 on her way to 20 points and three steals.

Washington's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for GlenOak, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

GlenOak beat Washington 50-43 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for GlenOak since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
