Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeast of Saline Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15.

Elle Swartz paced Chaparral's offense, picking up seven kills. Swartz got some help from Emily Harding and her 12 assists.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Southeast of Saline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Chaparral has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cheney on the 30th. As for Southeast of Saline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sterling on the 27th.
