Football Recap: Boyd Keeps Iowa Park's Under Pressure

Boyd lost to Iowa Park back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 31-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

The critical scores for Boyd came from Hunter Etter, Cash Selby, Maddox Parks, and Drew Brinkley.

Boyd's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Jess Withers refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself. He was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Boyd's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Iowa Park, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
