Basketball Recap: Wissahickon Takes a Loss

Wissahickon lost against Upper Moreland back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wissahickon Trojans received a blow as they fell 65-49 to the Upper Moreland Bears. The loss was the Trojans' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wissahickon fell to 2-1. As for Upper Moreland, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wissahickon will host Upper Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Upper Dublin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Upper Moreland, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against William Tennent at 7:00 p.m. Upper Moreland is facing William Tennent at the right time seeing as William Tennent is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
