While Bryson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Olney Cubs on Saturday. For the Cowboys, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Cubs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Bryson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Olney between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

The victory made it two in a row for Bryson and bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Olney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryson will welcome Forestburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olney, they will take on Munday at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
