Soccer Recap: Glenwood Find Success

Glenwood kept a clean sheet against Prattville Christian Academy on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 back in March.

Makenna Casner was the driving force of Glenwood's attack as she scored both of Glenwood's goals, bringing her season total up to 22 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Glenwood and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two games. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Glenwood is set to challenge their familiar foe Alabama Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Prattville Christian Academy will square off against rival Lee-Scott Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
