Basketball Game Preview: Yuma Outlaws vs. Limon Badgers + How To Watch

The Yuma Outlaws will venture away from home to face off against the Limon Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yuma has given up an average of 54.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Yuma is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Sidney by a score of 69-58 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Outlaws.

Brody Sheffield was his usual excellent self, putting up 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. His big performance that morning made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Pensado, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Limon and Peyton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Badgers fell 53-47 to the Panthers on Thursday. Badgers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Thursday.

Yuma's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Limon, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Yuma against Limon in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Outlaws since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
