Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Academy Eagles vs. Margaretta Polar Bears

The Notre Dame Academy Eagles will take on the Margaretta Polar Bears in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Wednesday, Notre Dame Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Perrysburg and fell 48-46. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, Margaretta was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Huron 50-22. The Polar Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Margaretta and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Notre Dame Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
