Dos Pueblos entered their tilt with Santa Barbara on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Dons. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 17-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dos Pueblos got a great performance from Seth Tedeschi as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Tedeschi has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Mateo Saldana was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Dos Pueblos' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Santa Barbara, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Dons beat Dos Pueblos by a score of 4-0 on Friday.
