Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wethersfield Flying Geese. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Wethersfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Riverdale will be home for the holidays to greet Kewanee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wethersfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Morrison at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th.
