Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Legacy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Dakota Ridge Eagles on Saturday. The Lightning's loss signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Aislin Oldach paced Legacy's offense, picking up 23 kills. Oldach got some help from Emma Gray and her 51 assists. Oldach also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reagan Bayley, each putting up two.

Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Dakota Ridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dakota Ridge, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Ralston Valley on the 11th.
