Football Recap: Oxbridge Academy Drops Season-High Score on Master's Academy

Oxbridge Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Master's Academy Patriots, falling 53-27. On the bright side, the 27- point performance marked the ThunderWolves' highest-scoring contest to date.

Cody Waters threw for 89 yards and one TD. Ty Caldwell was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Hayden Quasha rushed for 30 yards and one touchdown.

Oxbridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Master's Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Oxbridge Academy will challenge NSU University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the ThunderWolves their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Master's Academy, they will head out to square off against Central Florida Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 894 yards in their previous games.
