Anthony Wayne put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 58-44 victory over the Findlay Trojans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Generals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Trojans are ranked 282nd).

Anthony Wayne got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Pike out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Pike a new career-high in blocks (three). Mallory Pike was another key player, putting up six points along with ten boards and five blocks.

Anthony Wayne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

Anthony Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Findlay, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.
