Soccer Recap: West Forsyth Starts Season with Win at Home

West Forsyth took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Winston Salem Christian Lions a 4-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but West Forsyth were the better team in the second half.

They hit Winston Salem Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Campden Bishop (2), Ethan Barghout, and Jefferson Barralaga-Lopez.

Winston Salem Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, West Forsyth will face off against Apex Friendship at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Winston Salem Christian, they will host Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
