Basketball Recap: Sharpstown Comes Up Short

Sharpstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They took a 58-39 bruising from the Austin Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apollos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-38 back in December of 2024.

Sharpstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Austin, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.

Sharpstown has already played their next match (against Madison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Austin is taking a road trip to challenge Galena Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
