Midland Legacy's win ends three-game losing streak at home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frenship, the Midland Legacy Rebels were happy to have found some success on Friday. They strolled past Midland with points to spare, taking the game 63-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Midland Legacy also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Colin Brazzell had a dynamite game for Midland Legacy, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Jordan Williams was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Midland Legacy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-16. As for Midland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland Legacy will face off against San Angelo Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midland Legacy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while San Angelo Central is ranked 109th). As for Midland, they will head out on the road to square off against Odessa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Odessa is on a five-game streak of home losses, Midland a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
