Baseball Recap: Camden Fairview Comes Up Short

Camden Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the De Queen Leopards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 7-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Camden Fairview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Betts, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Camden Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for De Queen, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Camden Fairview will take on Parkers Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. De Queen will be paying especially close attention to the Cardinals' match: after the Cardinals face off against the Trojans, they'll take on De Queen again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
