Volleyball Recap: Draper APA Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Draper APA waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs 3-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Draper APA walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Evie Martinez was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six games. Ziva Horne also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Draper APA's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Gunnison Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Draper APA is taking a road trip to face off against Cyprus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gunnison Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Maeser Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m.
