Heritage entered their tilt with Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Cadets. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Iestyn Roe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other pitching news, Jaxon Feasby looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Beau Stoppenhagen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Landon Lybarger, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in nine consecutive matchups.

Heritage pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
