Football Recap: Urbandale Piles Up the Points Against Sioux City North

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Urbandale). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-7 victory over the Sioux City North Stars. The high-scoring effort was just what the J-Hawks needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Urbandale's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Sioux City North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Urbandale will take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The J-Hawks will be up against the Railsplitters' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sioux City North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Stars surely won't give up without a fight.
