Baseball Game Preview: Bell Eagles vs. Legacy Tigers

For the second straight game, Bell will face off against Legacy. The Eagles will challenge the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Bell's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Legacy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Wednesday, Bell earned a 6-1 victory over Legacy. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Bell got a great performance from Adolfo Esquivel as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Esquivel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jayden Rojas, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Armando Aguilar, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Legacy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Bell, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.
