Basketball Recap: North White Takes a Loss

North White was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Pioneer Panthers 46-18. The Vikings were down 33-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, North White still got an impressive performance from Braylon Sipkema, who posted six points. What's more, Sipkema also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2023. Charlie Williams also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

North White didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-14 defeat against Caston on the 24th. As for Pioneer, they are taking a road trip to face off against Tri-County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
