Soccer Game Preview: Ocean Lakes vs. Northampton

The Ocean Lakes Dolphins will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Northampton Yellowjackets at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Northampton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Ocean Lakes, who comes in off a win.

Ocean Lakes barely beat Oscar Smith the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dolphins never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. Ocean Lakes haven't had any issues with Oscar Smith recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Northampton came up short against Smithfield on Thursday and fell 4-2.

Northampton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ocean Lakes, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Ocean Lakes got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2017 against Northampton by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dolphins since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
