Soccer Recap: Space Coast Triumphs

On WednesdayCocoa kept up with Space Coast until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Space Coast Vipers never let the Cocoa Tigers onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vipers needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Cocoa from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Tony Allotta led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Space Coast's victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Cocoa, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Space Coast will be playing in front of their home fans against Melbourne Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Space Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season. Cocoa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
