Basketball Recap: Roma Gladiators vs. San Benito Greyhounds
Roma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-18 loss at the hands of the San Benito Greyhounds. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1130th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 357th).
Valeria Garza was Roma's leading scorer, having posted five points. Ayssa Rios held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.
