Softball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clarksville's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Kirkwood Cobras on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in March.

Clarksville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Clarksville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Kirkwood, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

As of now, neither Clarksville nor the Cobras have any future games scheduled.
