Baseball Recap: Dora's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Dora suffered their biggest loss since March 8th on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to the Vinemont Eagles. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Eagles when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dora saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Dora's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-11. As for Vinemont, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-7.

While Dora had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
