Vernon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Kittatinny Regional Cougars with a sharp 4-1 win. The match was close at halftime, but Vernon turned on the heat in the second half with four goals.
They hit Kittatinny Regional with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mason Heilmann (2), Robert Burdzy, and Ty Mountain.
