Basketball Recap: Emmonak Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kotlik on Friday, Emmonak came back down to earth. The Emmonak Huskies took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Russian Mission Brown Bears. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Brown Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Emmonak's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Russian Mission, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Emmonak has already played their next game (against Ignatius Beans), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Russian Mission didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-54 loss against Emmonak on the 1st.
