Volleyball Recap: Dysart Comes Up Short

Dysart lost against Paradise Honors back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Demons fell 3-1 to the Panthers.

While Dysart ultimately came up short, they really made Paradise Honors work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25, 21-25, 25-21.

Matthew Erickson paced Dysart's offense, picking up 16 kills. Erickson got some help from Jorge Serna and his 31 assists. Erickson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Dysart's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Paradise Honors, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Dysart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paradise Honors, they will face off against ALA - Queen Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
