Preview: Hancock Eagles vs. Reavis Rams
Hancock is 0-4 against Reavis since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Hancock Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Reavis Rams at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
On Friday, Hancock suffered a rough 60-35 loss at the hands of Kennedy. Hancock has not had much luck with Kennedy recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, Reavis' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. Their tough 68-43 defeat to Oak Lawn might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Reavis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 435th, while Oak Lawn is ranked 126th).
Hancock dropped their record down to 4-24 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Reavis, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
