Basketball Recap: Jonovan Webb Key Part of Team Effort in Rams Win + How To Watch

Westside won the last time they faced Mauldin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams snuck past the Mavericks with a 69-64 victory.

Westside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonovan Webb, who went 10-for-17 en route to 30 points. Thanks to that strong game, Webb now owns an excellent 46.5% field goal percentage. Dee Davis was another key player, putting up 19 points along with six assists and three steals.

Mauldin's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alverez Smith, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. My'Khail Cannon also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Westside now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Mauldin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Coming up, Westside will challenge Athens Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mauldin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against T.L. Hanna at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
