Volleyball Recap: Pike Valley Takes a Loss

Pike Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10.

Landry Nylund paced Pike Valley's offense, picking up three kills. Nylund got some help from Kinley Cooper and her three assists.

Pike Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Sylvan-Lucas, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 16-7.

Pike Valley has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Linn on the 4th. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rock Hills on the 30th.
