Football Game Preview: NSU University Sharks vs. American Heritage Stallions

Two dominant signal callers in Jayden Miller and Marcus Stracke are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The NSU University Sharks will host the American Heritage Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

NSU University's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Ransom Everglades on Thursday. They were beaten by the Raiders 43-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Sharks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, American Heritage ended up a good deal behind Lakeland Christian on Friday and lost 42-28. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Stallions, who until this game were averaging 13.25 points allowed.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Stracke and Brody Brenneman. Brenneman had a great game and threw for 171 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. Meanwhile, Stracke did his best for the losing side, throwing for 243 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.1% of his passes.

American Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for NSU University, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Everything came up roses for NSU University against American Heritage in their previous meeting back in October of 2018, as the team secured a 50-14 win. Will the Sharks repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
