Basketball Recap: Chicago Vocational Takes a Loss

Chicago Vocational was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 65-35 to the Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Chicago Vocational's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Vocational will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Julian at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st. Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Morgan Park at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th.
