Head coach Jermaine O'Neal leads third-year program to Chipotle Nationals title game, final No. 1 ranking.
Despite being the No. 10 seed in a 10-team field,
Dynamic Prep (Irving, Texas) advanced to the Chipotle Nationals title game over the weekend in its first appearance at the event.
Four players averaged double figures for O'Neal's team, including SMU signees
Jaden Toombs (15.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists per game) and
Jermaine O'Neal Jr. (14.5 points, 3.8 rebounds), Sam Houston State commit
Jacobe Coleman (11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists) and mid-season transfer and Rutgers signee
Chris Nwuli (10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds).
A pair of top 10 Class of 2027 prospects also provided key minutes off the bench as
Ryan Hampton (7.8 points, 1.9 rebounds) and
Marcus Spears Jr. (6.3 points, 5.3 rebounds) gained valuable experience in the rotation.
The third-year program won 25 of its last 27 games to close out the year.
Dynamic Prep outscored opponents by 19.9 points per contest this season and won championships in the four-team City of Palms Classic Signature Series along with the eight-team Nike Invitational Tournament.
