Baseball Recap: Templeton Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

While Templeton put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Atascadero. Templeton came out on top against Atascadero by a score of 4-0. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 10-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Not much got past Charlie Kline, who gave up just three hits to keep Atascadero off the board. The dominant performance also gave Kline a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Templeton's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Dahlen, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Templeton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5. As for Atascadero, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Templeton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 defeat against Washington Union on the 21st. As for Atascadero, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-1 win against Chowchilla on the 21st.
