Volleyball Recap: NorthPoint Christian Academy Triumphs

NorthPoint Christian Academy was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Hickory Grove Christian Lions 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was NorthPoint Christian Academy who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-5.

NorthPoint Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Leah Mauro, who had 13 digs and three aces.

The victory got NorthPoint Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.

NorthPoint Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against HOPE Academy on the 21st. As for Hickory Grove Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against High Point Christian Academy on the 15th.
