Soccer Recap: Redlands Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Redlands was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of the Eastside Lions by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 984th, while the Lions are ranked 74th).

Redlands' loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Eastside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Redlands will be taking part in a tournament against La Quinta at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday. Eastside will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Indian Springs at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday. Indian Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
