Ridgecroft skates past Halifax Academy with ease

The Ridgecroft Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Halifax Academy at home to the tune of 85-54. That's another feather in the cap for Ridgecroft, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Sawyer Chamblee was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Baylor Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Ridgecroft's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Halifax Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgecroft will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lawrence Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Halifax Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rocky Mount Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
