Coldwater lost to Okemos back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cardinals breezed past the Wolves to the tune of 42-7. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won five contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Coldwater, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.5 points on average over those games. As for Okemos, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coldwater will host Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okemos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games.
