Softball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater fell victim to Jefferson and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 13-0. The Whippets have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitewater will challenge New Berlin West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will face off against Elkhorn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
