Football Recap: Rolla Takes a Loss

Rolla and Kirkwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Rolla had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Pioneers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Rolla has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Kirkwood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Rolla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kirkwood, they will face off against Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Pioneers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
