Baseball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Legacy Christian Academy proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kings Christian Crusaders, sneaking past 13-11. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Caden Nunez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other pitching news, Owen Knaggs looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
